The Magners League is now the RaboDirect PRO12

The Magners League is dead, long live the RoboCop League. I mean the Robocop PRO12, I mean the RaboDirect PRO12. Yes, that’s the badger.

Apparently Dutch financial institution, sponsors of the Rebels in the Super 15, outbid Italian car makers Fiat to sponsor the league formerly known as the Magners League. Nice to have some form of bidding war.

And a shame that it is such a mouthful. Mostly a shame for the sponsors, as is there anyone that doesn’t think that the name won’t be shortened to the Pro12?

Either way reports on how much money this pumps into rugby seem to be short on the ground. Any information will be greatly appreciated….
