Did the Ref Cost the British Lions the Series?

It seems that there is a good chance that it was the referree that cost the British Lions the first test - not Phil vickery as many in Wales have been suggesting.
Both interviews had a lot of interesting rugby points that i will be covering over the next few weeks, here is the first installment - a look at whether it was the ref, not Phil Vickery, that we should be looking at as the cause for our shoddy scrummaging performance in the first lions test -

Welsh Repercussions From the British Lions Tour
Posted on July 2, 2009 | 2 CommentsRemember the problems facing the Welsh rugby camp after Graham Henry came back form leading the 2001 British Lions to Australia?
He lost the moral and trust of the dressing room - it was the beginning of the end for him as Welsh coach.
Can the same happen to Warren gatland and co following on from this British Lions tour of South Africa? After all, most of the Welsh management are out there.
Personally I don't see the same thing happening again, here's why.
