Looking at this squad the Ospreys desperately need to find some cover at scrum half – whilst Mike Phillips is good enough to compete at the top table Nutbrown and Webb are the sorts of players who can lose you games, and are certainly a liability in the tough games – given the Ospreys group this is a major problem.
Ospreys fans everywhere will have to be praying Mike Phillips doesn’t pick up another injury.
Other than that no major surprises, though given his injury was slightly surprised to see Tom Smith in the squad. Kristian Phillips has got to be a bit gutted to miss out on selection in the wing slots as well.
