The end to the Magners League had been something of a damp squib for a few years now. And with so many games having to get pushed around, games played when there are internationals etc it doesn't always mean the best team wins it. I have some sympathy for Leinster fans this year - but I know as an Osprey fan (and talking to other fans of different regions) having something to actually play for at the end of the season has increased the interest fans had. It may not feel right to the team at the top - but it has worked well in the guinness premiership and the Super 14's, and it started promisingly in the Magners imo. Dervla,

When you have a team who has been top of the league for most of the season and a "final" determines the league winner, theres something odd about that.
