It’s Voting Time – Time for Some Fun

Please note this is not a Welsh rugby post.

So today is the day we go to the polls, cast our votes and decide who will be running the country for the next 4 years.  Or at least those of us who can be bothered to get to a polling station to vote anyway.

Now I am not going to stand on any soap box telling you who to vote for, that’s your business.  What i am going to do is suggest we make this fun.  I know I am going to.  But before we get into that I found these two sites very interesting…

http://www.voterpower.org.uk/ – this site tells you how much your vote is worth compared to others, based on safety of seat, population etc.  Pretty interesting, for example my seat (Gower) means my vote is only worth 0.18 votes.  How much is yours worth?

Also interesting is that http://www.votematch.org.uk/ can give you a rough estimate of who you support.  Or least it claims to.  I am not saying who I support etc but it chose the wrong party as top, matching me at 49%, and the one I actually voted for bottom, at 26%.  Not sure if that makes me or it wrong.

But the fun should be in tonight, round a mates place, a crate of larger and watching the election results come in.  Need to come up with a drinking game to do it to but tbh I fully expect to just get hammered as our country decides that it can’t decide who should run the country.

Anyone got any good election drinking games?
