This is a MUST see!  Having finally got around to watching my Living with the Pride DVD a few days ago I can only say good things about it.  Forget the last couple of British Lions DVD efforts – this one puts things back on track from where we left Ian McGeechan and co back in the 90’s in the wonderful ‘Living with the Lions’ VHS.

I’m going to try be careful with this, as I don’t want to give away too much and spoil this great British Lions DVD for you… But you will get to see things like

1) Just why Andy Powell deserves his nickname ‘Mongo’.  He really is something of a running joke (and funny fella).

2) Just how much the British Lions REALLY means to Ian McGeechan – a true great of a rugby man.

3) Who the characters of the tour are again.

4) A brief look into the selection committe before the tour and for the matches.

And of course, in the main, the wonderful ‘player cam’ where it is the players who are in control of who is filming and what is getting said.

There is a lot that goes on in this great 2 DVD offering and I wholeheartedly recommend that you check it out at the earliest opportunity, if not sooner.
