Well everyone else seemed to be getting in on the fun so I wanted to play ‘back a 15 too’.  Nigel Davies down at the Scarlets suggests that Dan Evans is the right man to replace the injured Lee Byrne, Dai Young has come out saying that Leigh Halfpenny is the man for the job despite not really playing there much) and Sean Holley assures us that ‘Bazza’, Barry Davies, is the man to replace Byrne for Wales as well as the Ospreys.

At this rate Dicky Webster is going to suggest Nicky Thomas or Tom Prydie as the next Welsh fullback!

So I’m jumping the gun and suggest that the Welsh rugbyl coaching set up select my Dad.  He used to play full back for Mumbles a few years back (alright about 20 or more), surely that qualifies him in this round of ‘bigging up the full backs I am biased about’ game?

By the way – anyone thought of asking Paul Turner if Tovey or Thomas are up to it?  I’m sure he’s feeling left out now (unless I missed that interview).  Then again, maybe he will suggest my Dad too.
