Gatland considering his position over rugby player stand off

Its true, check out this article on the BBC. With all the arguements on over when a player should be released to the Welsh rugby squad to prepare for the autumn internationals Warren Gatland is considering his position.

Hard to blame him. In all likely hood the problems lie at the feet of both the regions and the WRU so don’t think I am automatically siding with Wales over this. But where-ever the blame lies it is still effecting the Welsh squad.

They are taking on the big boys of world rugby, and to do that they need the best preparation possible. Right now that is being denied to them. I had hoped a compromise would be reached, but the appointment of David Moffett to ‘Regional Rugby Wales’ makes that seem a little unlikely.
