British Lions Fantasy League – The Blog Challenge
I meant to post about this before but I have been swamped with work and other issues, so forgot about it. I have set up a league of blogs to take part in Sky’s fantasy Lions game – and its already one game old and I forgot to change my team – thankfully I already had players such as the try scoring Lee Byrne in it so despite not having half the team start the Welsh Rugby Blog came 2nd.
But anyway the idea is that there are a bunch of blogs taking part including (those I can work out who they belong to)
If any of you have a blog and want to take part then leave a comment below, and also to the two of you who I don’t remember who teh teams belong to – sorry and let me know!
So how are the league standings after the first game? Unfortunately Try Gol are currently leading, though I suspect that the others, like me, forgot to change their team (or are useless at doing it – either/or). Next British Lions game is this evening, so things should change.

I paid attention and made changes just before the match but to be fair, I didn’t exactly set the world on fire. Hopefully I can stay top of the table after today.
I noticed some folks had Springboks in their line ups. Not sure they understand the rules as it makes no sense to have SA players at this point.
Yeah, I cant understand the logic of having Bokkes in the squad either.
Have made changes for this one so watch out… will try remind others about it now that I have time to be blogging about rugby again!

Oh dear! Completely forgot about the team changes with all the excitement here.
Two games behind I fear all is lost.
Great performance last night from the ‘Real’ Lions. I thought Roberts was outstanding again. He’s made great strides since the last time he was in SA where he looked off the pace.
Not at all too late, a lot of rugby left to play – and of course the tests count double in points, plus it has the bokkes playing so it becomes far harder to choose – still very early doors
Still topping the table, although my welsh friend closed the gap a bit.
Had a half decent second game and was happy to see i didn’t have any Springboks – so I’ll fight it out from a standing start.
