British Lions DVD

The new 2009 British Lions DVD is out, and it looks great!

I’ve been in love with these things ever since the Living with the Lions from the last South Africa tour allowed us to see behind the scenes with the lads, the laughter, banter, the speaches and the training sessions. It is amongst my most watched of DVD’s.

Whilst the last few British Lions DVD’s haven’t been as good, they simply don’t look like they’ve had as much fun, I have high expectations for this one. Every single player has come back saying it was one of the best experiences of their lives – and all said what a great time they had, and it certainly looked it as a spectator.

So I can’t wait to watch the players going for gold again, McGeechan ranting and Sean Edwards actling like a nutter. But just to give you a taste here’s the preview.  Trust me, the main Living with the Pride DVD is worth watching.

Was there for all the games and watching this brings it all back, the pride/passion of looking in pure amazement at just how many Lions fans travelled so far and paid so much in the middle of the biggest recession the world has seen since the great depression.
    Pride at being British.
Only the lions can create such an atmosphere and bring the 4 countries together.
So many memories, great memories, singing with the welsh boys in a tiny tin pot hotel just outside Rorkes drift and all the locals asking if they could have our lions shirt, and not one of us would give their treasured Lions shirt away.
The brilliant banter with the springbok fans, listening to the springboks go on and on and on about how they simply could not believe how many Lions fans were over there.
If youve never being on a Lions tour, then for crying out loud get saving now for Australia 2013, as its something that will stay with you for ever.
