Acting Head Coach, Filo Tiatia, said:

“There’s plenty of excitement about the place at the moment, it’s a real challenge for this group of players and coaches over the next couple of weeks and we’re all looking forward to it.

“It’s a young team that will face Cardiff Blues, but it’s an exciting one that promises a lot so it should be a good evening for Ospreys fans, who will get another look at the future. This group made a huge impression when we went to Bridgend to play Leicester, and with this game and the Wasps game in Bridgend next weekend, it’s their opportunity to really kick on with their development, as individuals and as a group.

“We’ve prepared together ahead of this period and we know that a positive performance will set up another big occasion at the Brewery Field. We want to win every competition that we compete in, so while we are focusing on development, we want to progress in this competition, which means we must get it right on Saturday evening. It should be a good contest, but we have plenty of confidence in the ability of these youngsters, to go there and perform.”
