How YOU Can Help Rugby

Rugby is fantastic. Not only is it the best sport in the World (made up statistics proving this available on request) but t also has the best people playing it. Nowhere else do you get the same sense of camaraderie, of family, as you do with other rugby fans.

No segregation of fans, no violence (off the pitch) – just people you can talk with, have a beer with after the game. No matter what your backgrounds.

Stop Slapping Yourself on the Back!!!

Rugby may be all this, but it is not perfect. We know that injuries happen – and we know serious injuries happen. Here in Wales we have examples such as Neath scrum half Gareth Jones who died two months after breaking his spine playing rugby. We know how dangerous this sport is.

Which is why we need YOU to help rugby. Rugby is a dangerous sport, and people get injured, sometimes seriously so. Which is why we are looking to raise money for Walk4Matt – an event that aims to raise money for two causes

1) helping severely injured rugby players with various costs etc.
2) helping create learning and play tools for children with severe disabilities

The Walk launches tonight – with myself driving a canal boat and my other half walking the 110 miles from Rugby to Twickenham. This is a huge effort all to help members of the rugby fraternity. Don’t just be a fan who asks for everything from their heroes, but gives nothing – show that if a player puts their body on the line for the club, that their fans won’t leave them in the cold if it goes wrong.

We need you, so please sponsor us. No matter how little, or how much, all donations are happily accepted.
