Signed Rugby Ball
I am involved in auctioning off a rugby ball signed by the referee Nigel Owens. The proceeds go to the Stand Up to Cancer campaign via Cancer Research UK. The ball is being offered through their Port Talbot shop.

Does anybody know a good way to publicise this silent auction to get as many bids as possible? Where is the best place to put up posters etc?

Much obliged.

RE: Signed Rugby Ball
I don't live in the area but the usual methods can work:
- Tesco often has a local notices corner
- Other supermarkets likely do
- Local POs
- Try calling up local radio and ask them. You'd be surprised: they may even do a feature on it
- Social media - ask friends to post on Facebook and like your post on FB. Use images because they get greater engagement
- Hospital notice boards

You can probably think of much better ones than me but maybe that triggers some ideas...

RE: Signed Rugby Ball
oh - forgot to mention the local press.
Here's a little form I found on Localgiving's website - you can upload news directly to the news desk of local newspapers. This one is for the Daily Post:
