With new head coach Joe Schmidt and forwards coach John Plumtree, the Irish face the AB's, Wallabies and Samoa (up first).
Ireland have some tough decisions to make and they could prove vital to their progress. BO'D dropped by Gatland for the B & I Lions could make the cut but is he now right for the captaincy, and if he isn't who should captain the side? My money would be on O'Connell.
All three teams are above them in world rankings, so any victory will be a tough ask with a new coaching setup.
Anyone agree?

A smile will make others smile, a frown will live alone.

RE: Ireland
The trouble with the AIs is they should be about developing new players for the squad and building towards the 6Ns and the World Cup. But Schmidt will be under a lot of pressure to come up with wins, so I think he will be tempted to go with the familiar old war horses.
In some ways he might be lucky to have injuries to a couple of old campaigners like BOD to allow him to bring in some fresh blood la Wales last year.
