Cardiff Blues have come in and signed former Welsh international and British Lions Dafydd James and All Black international Casey Lualua.
Good signings in my opinion, and ones desperately needed after Jame Robinson leaving for France and Welsh rugby international Tom Shanklin being out injured for the first part of the season.
But I think more is needed, read the article to see why.

Simon Easterby has been appointed the Scarlets forwards coach – and is far from the first player coach the Welsh Wales rugby region has appointed in its time.
But whilst the ‘old boy network’ may be alive and well this appointment has at least a chance of being a great choice. Easterby is a quality player who commands respect and admiration from the public and his fellow pros.
He has a hell of a job on his hands, trying to turn the Scarlets pack into a real force – but he has a fighting chance with the likes of David Lyons available to him. Fingers crossed he can manage it.

David Bishop is going on trial to Sale Sharks – where their Welsh Director of Rugby Kingsley Jones will be taking a look at him.
Ceiron Thomas is leaving the Scarlets to join newly promoted Guinness Premiership side Leeds – presumably to get some game time.
Good to see Welsh rugby players are still in demand over the border. We take a quick look here at the wto players and at the moves they are making.

Stephen Jones is one Welsh rugby player that seems to ceate a lot of controversy – odd for such a mild mannered 10.
Some consider him a Welsh rugby legend, whilst others don’t even consider him world class.
So we have to wonder – why are people seeing the same player so differently? What is it about him that has some people saying Legend whilst others saying ‘journeyman’?
We look at why that is, and why I consider him to be truly deserving of the phrase ‘Welsh rugby legend’.

So Barry Davies has signed for Welsh Rugby region, the Ospreys, leaving French side Brive.
As a former Llanelli Scarlets player he is likely to get a fair bit of stick from his mates back home, but the question remains… why did the Ospreys make this signing, and will it be a good one for them?
Check out this article to see what I think, and don’t hesitate to leave your own thoughts in the comments.

This season has been far from the best from the point of view of Welsh rugby. In fact some may even suggest that it has been a big pile of pants after the promise of last season.
So I run a quick rule over how the season went and give a few positives and negatives that all the teams can take away from it
And some pants of course

Dafydd James has started high court proceedings against the Scarlets for illegal termination and loss of earnings.
The Llanelli based team activated a clause in Dafydd James’ contract after he was injured for over 26 weeks. A shocking way to treat a true Welsh rugby legend
So I manage another rant on the subject. Scarlets have shown their true colours. A disgrace.

I know this could well lose me some Scarlet fan readers, but please bear with me while I explain my headline and then make your own minds up.
Did you know that the Scarlets have been cancelling players contracts because they are injured?
Have you heard how they told Dafydd James, one of the longest serving Scarlets, that he can’t play for them – when he tried getting on a bus to go to a game he was selected for? He was told right in front of his team mates, on a …

Both sides have announced their teams for Wednesdays game.
None of the 5 remaining Cardiff Blues players (after Tom Shanklins injury) are in the squad, whilst the Scarlets name their two British Lions, Stephen Jones and Matthew Rees, on the bench.
To be honest both teams are fielding weak looking sides so I’m not expecting too much by way of intensity. But it will be interesting to see some of the players that have been named in the Welsh squad in action
