It may not be related to Welsh rugby but I just wanted to give all my best wishes to John Hartson, the Welsh footballer.
He was diagnosed with testicular and brain cancer over the weekend. It seems things are even worse than first thought, with the cancer having also been detected in his lungs.
A Morriston NHS spokesman had this to say
“He is currently being cared for by the critical care team at Morriston and is receiving round-the-clock care aiming to stabilise his condition.
“Unfortunately, cancer has now also been diagnosed in his lungs. He will resume radiotherapy and chemotherapy as soon as possible.”
All my best wishes go to him and his family. Hartson is a Welsh legend, even as a person who only half heartedily supports football I can appreciate the dedication and determination that he brought to the game.
I am sure all of Wales will join me in hoping he can beat this.

Hi John
I have lived with cancer, my mother had cancer and I know family is the most important thing in the world. If you have your family around you and your friends you have all the support you need. I wont go into what happened in my personal life, but all I know is you are a strong person, a healthy person and a true family man. Please be positive you will see your new baby and this is what will keep you thriving, trust me. You will go on to better things and making more men aware of this is a positive thing as by making this documentary you could have saved alot of lives right now. Good luck for the future I hope you and your family have a long, healthy and happy life.
