I can’t believe whats happened afterwards though, sorry if its a bit previous, but a two week ban to a five grand fine?

Does this mean Stade Francais can wade in with £150 000 and Attoub plays next week? Hardly seems fair to me.

I was at the game too and would make some further observations:

- Lewis was terrible for the first half, but got better after the 16 man thing. Obviously knocked him off his game plan

- When Byrne came back on, it understandably to put the Ospreys defensive line completely out of sorts (I was sitting behind the Ospreys tryline) rather than make it stronger by virtue of having more tacklers. Sonny Parker decided after about 20 seconds that he should stand off the pitch so he did so on the far touchline between halfway and the 22. Then Byrne wandered off as well about 20 seconds later – all while the game continued. in other words, for about half of the short time that Ospreys were supposed to have 16 players on the pitch, they actually had 14.

- During the arguments down on the touchline, Ryan Jones started counting up all the Leicester players and looking incredilously at the ref. I laughed my arse off…

Alan Lewis is inept. George Clancy is inept. Does anyone see a link between these referees and the blokes on the panel judging Byrne and the Ospreys?

Clancy was awful for the Quins v Blues game
